WordPress Websites Built to Grow Service Businesses

I build WordPress websites for roofing, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, landscaping and construction businesses, then handle the SEO, Google Business Profile and speed work that turns a local search into a phone call.

Building Websites That Work for Your Business

I am Arslan Kalwar. For over eight years, I have been building WordPress websites, most of them for businesses that sell a service rather than a product. Roofers, plumbers, HVAC companies, electricians, painters, landscapers, contractors and window and door installers.

Those businesses share the same problem. The work is good, the reputation is solid, but the website does not show it and does not appear when someone nearby searches. So I treat design, build and search visibility as one job instead of three separate ones.

My work covers WordPress and Elementor websites, WooCommerce, technical and on-page SEO, local SEO, AI SEO, Google Business Profile optimisation, social media optimisation and website performance and upkeep.

Websites for the Trades and Local Service Businesses

Different trades, same job to do online: show the work, cover the service area, and make it easy to get in touch before the customer calls someone else. Every trade has its own page under the industries I build for.

Working in a trade that is not listed? The approach is the same. Tell me what you do and I will explain how the site would be structured.

Services designed for How Service Businesses actually get Found

Five areas. Most businesses have a gap in one or two of them.

WordPress Website Design

Professional WordPress websites built for businesses, with clean layouts, responsive design, clear navigation, and conversion-focused pages that help turn visitors into customers.

WordPress Website Redesign

Transform your outdated WordPress website with a modern design, improved user experience, mobile responsiveness, better performance, and a structure designed to support your business goals.

WordPress Maintenance Services

Keep your WordPress website secure, updated, fast, and reliable with regular maintenance, plugin updates, backups, security checks, performance improvements, and ongoing technical support.

WordPress SEO Services

Improve your website's search visibility with technical SEO, on-page optimization, keyword targeting, content improvements, internal linking, and local SEO strategies designed to attract relevant traffic.

Social Media Management

Build a consistent social media presence with engaging content, professional graphics, strategic posting, profile optimization, and ongoing management designed to increase visibility and connect with potential customers.

Not sure where the gap is?

Send me your website address and the trade you’re in. You’ll get a short, honest answer on what’s holding it back, at no cost. If a focused fix would do more than a rebuild, I’ll tell you that instead of quoting for a full redesign.

A developer's build, a Marketer's thinking

You deal with one person for design, build and search visibility. Nothing gets lost between a designer, a developer and an SEO who never speak to each other.

I work on WordPress itself, not just with it

I’ve contributed to six WordPress core releases and hold 33 contributor badges across code, accessibility, support and translation. I organised WordCamp Islamabad 2025 and I’m a translation editor for Sindhi and Urdu. You can check all of it on my WordPress profile. It’s not a certificate I bought. It’s a public record.

Built to get calls

Each page is built around one clear action. Phone number, quote form and service area stay visible instead of buried on a contact page.

SEO goes in from the first page

Semantic markup, clean URLs, heading hierarchy and schema are part of the build, not bolted on later when they cost more to fix.

Mobile first, genuinely

Most local searches happen on a phone, often outdoors, often on a bad connection. Tap targets, stacking order and text sizes are designed for that first.

Clear communication

Defined milestones, plain updates, and a staging link you can check at any time. No jargon to decode before you approve anything.

How a project runs, Start to Launch

01

Discover

Understand the business, the services that actually pay, the areas you cover, and who you're up against locally.

02

Strategy

Plan the page structure, the content each page needs, the SEO direction, and the path a visitor takes to contacting you.

03

Design

Design the pages around that plan, starting with mobile, and agree the look before development begins.

04

Development

Build in WordPress, add schema and metadata, optimise images, and test on real devices and connections.

05

Launch and grow

Go live, connect Search Console and analytics, then keep improving visibility, speed and conversions.

Selected Work

A sample of the kind of websites I build for service businesses. Full case details are on the portfolio page.

Roofing contractor website

Separate pages for roof repair, replacement and storm damage, a project gallery and a request an estimate form on every page.

More Than Just a Website

I do not just build websites. I build websites for businesses that need visibility, trust and enquiries. Those come from several pieces working together, and each one feeds the next. The individual pieces are set out under services.

Website

A fast, clear foundation that explains what you do, where you work and how to book you.

SEO

Structure and content that help you appear for the services and areas you want work from.

Google Business Profile

The listing most local customers see first, filled in properly and kept active.

Social media

Proof that the business is real and active, using the job photos you already take.

Questions business owners ask first

If your question isn’t here, send it over. You’ll get a direct answer, not a sales call. There is more background on how I work on the about page.

It depends on how many services you offer, how many service areas you need covered, and whether you want extras like booking or online payment. A focused single-trade site is priced very differently to a multi-location contractor site. Send me your requirements and you'll get a fixed quote with the scope written down.

Yes, as part of the build rather than as an add-on. That means clean URLs, a proper heading structure, schema markup, fast loading, and a page structure built around the services and areas you want work from. Ongoing SEO, including content, links and Google Business Profile work, is separate work I can quote for.

A focused single-trade site typically takes three to five weeks from kickoff to launch. Larger multi-service or multi-location sites take longer. The biggest variable is usually how quickly content, photos and feedback come back from your side, so I set those deadlines out at the start.

Yes. I build in WordPress with Elementor so you can edit text, swap photos and add projects without touching code. I hand over a short walkthrough recording covering the things you'll actually change. Anything structural, I'm available for.

Yes, most of my clients are in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. Work happens over email, WhatsApp and scheduled calls, and I keep overlapping hours for whichever timezone you're in.

Then a rebuild may not be what you need. Send me the address and I'll tell you whether it's a structural problem, a visibility problem or a speed problem, and whether it's fixable in place. Sometimes it is, and that's cheaper for you.

Ready to build a better online presence?

Tell me what your business does and where you work. You’ll get a clear plan for the website and the visibility work around it, with a fixed quote. If you would rather read first, start with what each service covers.
