A Coastal Roofing and Exteriors Website for Pawleys Island

Ridge Roofing & Exteriors is based in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, and serves homeowners in nearby coastal communities. I built the website around roofing, exterior services, useful homeowner content and location relevance for areas such as Carolina Forest.

Building Local Relevance Across Coastal Communities

Homeowners on the South Carolina coast deal with salt air, summer heat and storm seasons, so questions about roof condition and exterior upkeep come up often. Ridge Roofing & Exteriors wanted to be the company those homeowners find when they start researching.

That meant going beyond a single homepage. The site needed a solid core of service content, dedicated location pages for the communities around Pawleys Island, and a blog where the team could publish practical roofing tips. All of it had to lead back to a clear way to get in touch, in line with how I approach every website for roofing companies.

Roofing, Exterior Services and Searchable Homeowner Content

The work combined a WordPress build with a content structure designed to grow: service pages, location pages and a blog. Together with search engine optimization for WordPress sites, that structure gives the company room to expand its reach over time.

Hub and Location Layout

The homepage acts as a hub for Pawleys Island, with separate location pages such as Carolina Forest branching off it, keeping the structure tidy as more coastal communities are added.

Area-Specific Search Pages

Location pages give search engines a clear signal that Ridge serves each community, so a homeowner searching for a roofer near Carolina Forest finds a page written for their area.

Roofing Tips Blog

A blog section holds roofing tips and guides, giving the team a place to answer common homeowner questions and build topical relevance that supports the main service pages.

Contact Points on Every Page

Each service, location and blog page ends with a direct route to contact the company, so a reader researching roof care can move straight to requesting help.

How the Ridge Roofing Website Grew From Local Research

01

Market Check

I looked at how coastal South Carolina homeowners search for roofing help and which nearby communities Ridge wanted to target first.

02

Content Architecture

The plan set out core service pages, a location page template that could be reused for each community, and a categorized blog.

03

Design Direction

Designs balanced a strong brand header with readable content areas, since blog and location pages rely on longer text than a typical roofing homepage.

04

Templates

Everything was built in WordPress with reusable templates, so new location pages and blog posts keep the same layout and calls to action.

05

Indexing

At launch, the sitemap was submitted and each page was checked for titles, meta descriptions and working contact links.

The gallery shows the roofing and exterior service pages, community context and mobile inquiry paths used throughout the site.

The same approach is available as a WordPress website design project for other businesses.

A Coastal Roofing Website With Useful Local Depth

Ridge Roofing & Exteriors now has a site structure that can grow with the business: location pages for new communities and a blog for ongoing advice. Every page is built to guide coastal homeowners from research to contacting the team.

The broader exterior-content approach differs from the damage-response focus in the Elite Roof Restoration case study.
