- Kirkland Residential Electrician Website
A Residential Electrical Website for Kirkland and the Eastside
Volt Lab Electric is a licensed residential electrician serving Kirkland, Redmond, Everett and nearby Eastside communities. I built the website to explain repairs, inspections and home electrical upgrades in plain language and turn local searches into quote requests.
- Industry: Residential Electrical
- Location: Kirkland, WA, USA
- Where It Started
Making Home Electrical Work Easier to Understand
Most of VoltLab Electric’s calls come from homeowners dealing with a tripping breaker, an aging panel, or a plan to add an EV charger in the garage. These customers want to know the electrician is licensed, careful about code, and easy to reach.
The brief was to build credibility with that audience and make the path to an estimate obvious. I planned a website built around how homeowners hire electricians, with safety and code compliance at the center of the messaging and the free inspection offer visible early.
- What I Delivered
Repair, Inspection and Upgrade Pages With Eastside Context
The project covered design, copy structure and on-page setup on WordPress. Search groundwork followed the approach I use in my WordPress SEO work, so each service could compete in Eastside searches.
Safety-First Visual Layout
A clean layout with short, well spaced sections puts licensing, code compliance and the free electrical inspection offer in front of homeowners before they have to scroll very far down the page.
Eastside Search Targeting
Titles, headings and page copy reference Kirkland, Redmond and Everett naturally, helping VoltLab appear when homeowners in those cities search for an electrician, a panel upgrade or an EV charger installer.
One Page Per Electrical Job
Repairs, safety inspections, system upgrades and EV charger installation each have their own page that explains the job, when it is needed and what the homeowner can expect on the visit.
Quote Requests From Any Page
A short estimate form, tap-to-call buttons on mobile and repeated calls to action let a homeowner request a consultation the moment they decide VoltLab is the right electrician for them.
- How It Came Together
How the Volt Lab Electric Website Was Planned
01
Discovery
I reviewed the jobs VoltLab takes on most, the Eastside cities it covers and the questions homeowners usually ask before booking an electrician.
02
Sitemap
Services were grouped into repairs, inspections and upgrades, with EV charging given its own page because it is a common reason local homeowners call.
03
Mockups
Mockups aimed for a precise, dependable feel, with clear icons and trust signals placed close to every call to action on the page.
04
WordPress Build
Pages were built in Elementor with reusable sections, compressed images and mobile layouts checked on the phones homeowners actually use to call trades.
05
Launch
After final checks on forms, redirects and metadata, the site went live and the contact form was tested end to end with the client.
